T-Hub Intro

We believe today’s time conscious, urban consumer wants a total solution that combines fitness, wellness and nutrition under one roof with a simple, easy to use membership model. Thanyapura has developed that solution with a new active living destination for urban markets called T-Hubs. Located in high density areas, all T-Hubs, regardless of size, will have fitness facilities, group class space, a vegetarian restaurant, consultation rooms, retail areas, and a children’s play and exercise club. T-Hubs will introduce an innovative membership model as well as digital technology, allowing members to book classes, track performance and monitor bio-data through wearables and mobile apps. T-Hub members will also receive special services in all Thanyapura resorts and sport events. Our goal is to be THE destination of choice for people who want a 360o approach to healthy living.

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day T-Hub operations, including the fitness and club services, the sport shop, and implements the financial plans and the brand strategies for those areas, and ensures that the T-Hub operations meet the brand’s target customer needs, drives employees happiness and engagement, focuses on growing revenues, and maximizes its financial performance and in, providing a return on investment to the owner and relevant key stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Makes sure that the manning, grooming, quality of service are provided to guests, guaranteeing a smooth operation of the T-Hub at all times,

Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance, initiating continued improvement where necessary,

Provides inspired leadership as the highest form of empowerment and communicates effectively in giving clear direction to staff, promotes the company culture that encourages top performance and high morale,

Takes leadership role in the support of the total quality process and observes performance and initiates continued improvement if not in compliance,

Monitors club desk and initiates adjustments if required, resolves guest concerns, and handles emergencies and other challenges that may occur during the assigned shift.

Handles and evaluates the member experience, implements resolutions by using discretion and judgment,

Develops a formal training plan and conducts on the job training sessions for his team, ensures that daily hand overs are executed,

Develops, implements and reviews operational policies and procedures,

Understands administrative processes and is able to approve / perform correct adjustments, if necessary,

Ensures that property and assets are well maintained and upkept

Manages various key stakeholders in the business, representing Thanyapura’s interest vs JV partners, keeping a well-functioning relationship

Ensures all legal and regulatory requirements are adhered to and their documentation filed, complying to laws and regulations,

Provides increased sustainability and social impact within their community

Qualification & Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in business or similar degrees

Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing a sports resort, a fitness club operation, or similar businesses

Positive attitude and mindset, even in difficult situations

Leading by example

Active and healthy lifestyle

Mindfulness affinity

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Good knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems

Fluency in English / meet one of the requirements:

1. CET-6 Score 500 and above, with work-efficient speaking English;

2. TOEFL 80 and above;

3. IELTS 5 and above;

4. 2+ years working experience in English-speaking environment;

5. 1+ years foreign study experience in an English-speaking country
